DOMUM AQUA, es un ejercicio poético de reflexión y supervivencia al inicio de la pandemia de 2020. Cuando la incertidumbre y el miedo se tomaron el quehacer cotidiano de las personas, me pareció que disponer de agua potable y agua caliente era, más que un derecho, un verdadero privilegio e intenté retratar mi sentimiento de agradecimiento. La belleza del agua se encontró, en este ejercicio, en el lavado y secado de ropa, en la cocina, en el regado de las plantas, en un reflejo en la taza de café, en las micro gotas del hervidor...
DOMUM AQUA, is a poetic exercise of reflection and survival at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. When uncertainty and fear took over people's daily chores, it seemed to me that having drinking water and hot water was, more than a right, a real privilege and I tried to portray my feeling of gratitude. The beauty of water was found, in this exercise, in the washing and drying of clothes, in the kitchen, in the watering of plants, in a reflection in a cup of coffee, in the micro drops of the kettle...
Marcos Matus Zúñiga, es fotógrafo profesional y músico popular que vive y trabaja en el sur de Chile, en la ciudad de Valdivia. Luego de estudiar fotografía a mediados de los 90s, se ha desempeñado en muchas de sus áreas: reportero gráfico, editorial, forense, publicitaria, social y autoral. De 2009 a 2011 fue miembro del primer directorio de la Asociación Chilena del Color. y desde 2012 docente de fotografía en IPST.
Actualmente es director de contenidos del festival de música y fotografía Fotorock Valdivia. Es armónica y voz en los grupos musicales “Los Calle-Calle” (cueca-rock) y “Navega`o Express” (bolero-blues-fusión)

Marcos Matus Zúñiga is a professional photographer and popular musician who lives and works in the south of Chile, in the city of Valdivia. After studying photography in the mid 90s, he has worked in many areas: photojournalism, editorial, forensic, advertising, social and authorial. From 2009 to 2011 he was a member of the first board of the Chilean Color Association and since 2012 he has been a photography teacher at IPST. He is currently content director of the music and photography festival Fotorock Valdivia. She is harmonica and voice in the musical groups “Los Calle-Calle” (cueca-rock) and “Navega`o Express” (bolero-blues-fusion).
